Dr. Lisa Stevens

Dr. Lisa is a fully licensed psychiatrist with a specialty in child and adolescent psychiatry. She provides evaluation and medication treatment services for the full range of pediatric psychiatric problems. While her specialty is with child and adolescent work, Dr. Lisa also sees a limited number of adult patients.

Dr. Lisa grew up in the Westside area of Dalton, graduating from Dalton High School before attending Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina. Dr. Lisa was a Magna Cum Laude/Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Furman, earning her B.S. in Biology as a pre-med student. She did her medical school training at The Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, also doing a one year internship there in pediatrics.

Dr. Lisa completed her Adult Psychiatry residency program at the USC/Los Angeles County Medical Center in California. She then completed her formal training with a fellowship in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Tennessee – Memphis Medical Center. Dr. Lisa has been an independently practicing psychiatrist since 1989.
