Mission Statement
The goal of The Stevens Clinic is to provide first quality psychiatric and psychological care from well respected, well trained, and well credentialed professionals – all within a caring Christian environment.

History of the Clinic
The Stevens Clinic opened in June 2001. After relocating to Dalton in 1995 from Memphis, Dr. David and Dr. Lisa were on staff with Hamilton Medical Center for several years before starting their own practice.

Location
The Stevens Clinic is located at 405 South Thornton Avenue in Dalton, next door to the First Bank. We are in a historic, 150 year old wood frame house built by James Morris, an early Dalton banker. The clinic is painted in its original colors of white siding with dark green trim and shutters. We have attempted to furnish the practice in an attractive and home-like fashion, for the comfort of both our patients and ourselves. The parking lot and entrance are located in the rear of the building.

Tuesday 8 AM to 5 PM

Wednesday 8 AM to 5 PM

Thursday 8 AM to 5 PM

Friday Closed

Please note that the office is generally closed daily from 12:00 to 1:00 for lunch.

Payment & Insurance
We are providers under most local private insurance plans, including Alliant, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Gilsbar, Cigna and Champus. We also see Georgia Medicaid and Amerigroup patients, except for Wellcare. We also are not Medicare providers. If you have any questions regarding insurance plans please call Stephanie, our Office Manager. We gladly file all paperwork necessary for utilizing insurance.

Contact Us
Please contact us by telephone (706-226-1146) or fax (706-226-1483). We do not use email for office communications. Some consider that old fashioned, but we consider the phone to be more personal and more efficient. Our office manager Stephanie will answer most calls at the time placed - or quickly call you back if busy. If you need to talk with a doctor, Dr. David and Dr. Lisa try to be careful to respectfully return all phone messages within the day. A 24 hour voice mail system is available for contacting us after business hours.
